Since AVG's update today (30th August) EvoSoft's products (Anti-cheat and Servertracker) are both being flagged as having a trojan.

These messages are false positives. EvoSoft does not contain any type of virus, trojan or malware.

To be absolutely sure you got a Safe copy of EvoSoft's products, download ONLY from this website.

Virus total Virusscan:
http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=05dee91d3b6bbca089a43aa0d203dca64ac3bc06e64faa1cb8e9c4ad5c9929c3-1283160181#

We are currently doing our utmost best to establish contact with both AVG and NOD32, aswell as Microsoft Defender to get this problem sorted as soon as possible.

There is no known fix available at this point, other then making an exception in your anti-virus program for EvoSoft.

AVG USERS - HOW TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR EVOSOFT:
- Open up AVG
- Go to Resident Shield
- Click on Manage Exceptions
- Click on Excluded programs, and add EvoSoft anti-cheat or servertracker to the list.

This will allow EvoSoft products to be used regardless of the trojan message.

Download and extract Evosoft again and it should be ok.

You can then add an exclusion in AVG to allow it to run as Evolution stated earlier.

** An Update from AVG. **

We have been in contact with AVG and they have agreed that this is a false positive.

We are working with AVG to correct this and expect to have a solution very soon.

Until this is corrected please use the Exclusion method outlined by Evolution earlier in this post.

Has this not been solved yet?

I just updated my AVG today (AVG Free 2011 Version), once i opened Evosoft a message popped up detecting malware..

P.S. I tried following Evolution's exclusion method but can't find the "Manage Exceptions" tab! Shocked

Cheers

This issue was solved about 2 days after our initial message was posted.

As soon as more problems arrise with AVG, we will get in contact with them again.
