Yeah, it's actually been down since early Tuesday afternoon. Their corporate website was down until this morning.

Apparently when you try to host a server, it needs to connect in some way to the novaworld lobby. So, if you already have a server up, do NOT take it down or you won't be able to put it back up until Nova finally completes the transfer of their services. If I'm wrong about this, thief or Evolution can edit my post or make a correcting post as they'll be more informed about how BHD works than I do.

It's simple!

Novalogic only care about their profits and don't give a damn about the users.  Roll Eyes

hmmm i wouldn't be running a vpn to play matches. Security and lag being the main two reasons.

I had this once, when I was playing some random game with some friends.

It's a program which simulate a local network. If you and your friends connect through Hamachi you would be able to to share local files etc, just like you all were on a LAN.

Correct me if I'm wrong Smiley

hamachi is far less laggy than hosting through the game itself tried and tested this about 3 yeras ago hamachi takes a more direct route it actually cuts ping times by half.

Actually a bit more secure than you suggest only share files that are preselected for sharing same with any network
