Registration system has been completed by Chris only a few hours ago. It is accesible by clicking on the Accounts button at the top of the website.

Please note, Since no one will know his EvoSoft ID until the anti-cheat is out, all applications will automaticly get rejected.

All applications will be looked into by EvoSoft admins. If there is a false e-mail address, false EvoSoft ID or innapropriate Username the application will get rejected instantly.

That will be up to you to judge when the anti-cheat arrives.

The lobby is almost done and the anti-cheat client is just about finished.

You have no pressure to deliver so take your time.

Don't listen to people who want this done yesterday , it won't help you.

I know , I speak from experience! lol

There was a great team there for quite a while.

Nearly 400 bans over that period , before some fool leaked the code.

So there must have been a period of about 8 months where Sigurd was effective.

So words like failure or let down really are not justified , but I understand your sentiment.

In my eyes Sigurd did a better job then e.g Punkbuster for which companies pay huge amounts for (Was it around $10.000 per month?). Sigurd was overprotected, as it also interfered with anti-virus and alot of other programs. Take away the bugs and a few bypasses and you have a real good anti-cheat.

With a client side, are you going to make a server side? Or is it just going to be a lobby

and people who are running it are shown? Or will it be close to the Lobby Sigurd

displayed?

Marc is working on the serverside. I have no updates from him as of yet. Keep your eyes on the Updates and Project Status board though because there is news every few days. Smiley

Everyone running the anti-cheat is displayed on the lobby, and categorised according to what they are doing.

In the future there might also be a separate list that holds all server's that are running EvoSoft and which EvoSoft players are in there.

When somone is playing in a server will it show what server they are in or is it just what game they are in ? as TBH i am not sure how this works ? does it just scan you game folder/PC on starting up the game or deose it do random scans whilst playing ?

As soon as you are logged into the anti-cheat, it will start scanning your processlist for known cheatfiles and files that look like cheats. It will not stop scanning until you close the anti-cheat. When you launch a game it will scan that filepath for anything that doesnt belong there, and will only trigger a ban if a cheat is found.

In the future when someone is playing, the lobby will show the serverIP + port they are in.
